Gluten Free Mom Colorado’s Cake Donuts

Gluten-free donuts are a huge deal in our house. Unfortunately they are not easy to come by and when we do find them they are never that good. This recipe is so easy and tastes exactly like a cake donut from a donut shop. My family absolutely loves them and they make my kids so happy.

Total Time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
Donuts
• 2 cups gluten free flour
• 1/3 cup white sugar
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 eggs
• 4 TBS melted butter
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
 
Glaze
• 1 cup white chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
• sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1 : Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease donut pans Step 2 : Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl Step 3 : Add eggs, butter, milk and vanilla to dry ingredients and mix until smooth Step 4 : Place the batter in a ziplock bag and cut about 1/2 inch off corner Step 5 : Squeeze batter into donut pans Step 6 : Cook for 10 minutes and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing from pan Step 7 : Microwave white chocolate and heavy cream for 30 seconds, stir and continue heating in 20 minute increments, stirring each time, until melted and smooth Step 8 : Dip cooled donuts in white chocolate and add sprinkles Step 9 : ENJOY!!!!
 
***Chef’s Tip***
Make sure flour mix contains xanthan gum, if it does not add to mix.
